What is fixed and what may change

All dates follow from Act No. 245/2000 on state holidays, other holidays, significant days and days off. Easter follows the Western calendar: 28 March in 2027.

The Czech Republic does not move holidays that fall on a weekend. In 2027, 1 May, 8 May, 25 and 26 December fall on a Saturday or Sunday, so there is no extra day off for them.

The law also lists significant days, such as 27 January or 12 March. These are normal working days.
